Keloids are firm, rubbery lesions or shiny, fibrous nodules, and can vary from pink to the color of natural skin color.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

ACV minimizes the size and redness of the scar. First, apply ACV directly on the affected area and gently massage it so the vinegar absorbs into the skin. Allow the ACV to dry then repeat the process so it will heal faster.

2. Baking Soda

Baking soda is a very good abrasive agent and exfoliates the skin. Mix one part baking soda and 3 parts peroxide to make a paste. Apply the paste directly on the skin to reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process.

3. Lemon juice

Lemon juice contains antioxidants and vitamin C and is very helpful in treating different types of scars, including keloids. Use fresh lemon juice and apply it to the affected area. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash the area.

4. Aloe vera

Aloe is great for a lot of skin conditions because it helps reduce inflammation, keep the skin moisturized and heals damaged skin. Clean the area with lukewarm water. Then, apply fresh aloe gel on the scars.

5. Sandalwood and rosewater

Sandalwood has skin regenerating properties and rose water is a natural skin toner. Make a thick paste of sandalwood and rose water. Clean the scar with water and apply the paste to the area before bed, and in the morning wash the area with lukewarm water.

Honey is a natural humectant that heals and moisturizes the skin. Apply fresh honey to the scar and massage the area gently, this will improve blood circulation and prevent accumulation of dead skin cells.

Mustard oil is a powerful antifungal agent and it makes an ideal cure for keloids. Take mustard oil and apply it to the skin about 3 times every day.
