2016 MTV VMA: Rihanna to Receive MJ’s Video Vanguard Award

Hard work has been a recipe for many achievements for Rihanna, who is expected to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

This was announced on Thursday, August 11, 2016, by organisers.

The ‘Rehab’ singer will be including this with two nominations in the Best Female Video and Best Collaboration categories for her hit track, ‘Work’, which featured Drake.

Rihanna’s 11 years music career has been nothing short of remarkable after releasing her eight studio album, ANTI, in January 2016.

The singer currently has a good scorecard of eight Grammy Awards and 14 Billboard Awards, in addition to the sales of 61 million albums and 215 million tracks.

The sky is far from the limit for the energetic singer.
