Ariana Grande Set To Release New Single In April

Ariana Grande is to release her first new music since the Manchester Arena terror attack last year when she drops the debut single from her upcoming album on April 27.

The 24-year-old singer saw her concert in the English city last May targeted by an Islamic terrorist who detonated a bomb outside the venue claiming the lives of 22 people.

Ariana was heartbroken by the atrocity but composed herself to organise the One Love Manchester which took place just a few weeks later and featured performances from the world’s biggest pop stars, including Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Take That, Justin Bieber and Liam Gallagher. All proceeds from the event went to We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Ariana then completed her ‘Dangerous Woman Tour’ before taking some time off ahead of starting work on her fourth studio album.

Variety is now reporting that the first single from the LP will be unveiled to the world on April 27.

Ariana has worked with Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and Pharrell Williams on the album, which is said to be made up of a host of deeply person songs which are inspired by the events and experiences that have affected her over the past two years.

The bombing has also brought about a political awakening in Ariana and although she has kept a fairly low-profile ever since wrapping her tour, the singer did perform her track ‘Be Alright’ at the March for Our Lives pro-gun-control rally in Washington D.C. in March, and she made an appearance at a benefit concert in Charlottesville, Virginia, last September following a white nationalist rally in the American city.
