Fans feared for Daley’s wellbeing days before the wedding after he was admitted to hospital.
Alongside a picture of himself wearing a gown and sitting in a hospital bed he wrote: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! #AthleteLife Back on the board soon.”
Daley and Black – who have a 20 year age gap – revealed their engagement with an announcement in The Times in October 2015.
They were rocked by cheating allegations in February which claimed Daley had had an affair at the end of last year.
The couple declined to comment and revealed that they would be going ahead with the wedding.
