Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda has fueled speculation he’s set to leave the club by ‘liking’ a photo on Instagram linking him with Celtic.
The 21-year-old’s made just nine appearances for the Blues this season and is unhappy with his playing time at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian landed himself in hot water with Antonio Conte earlier this season when he hit out at a lack of opportunities at the club but he’s since repaired his relationship with the Italian.
Nonetheless, Chelsea are keen for Musonda to experience regular first-team football and Celtic are interested in a 18-month loan deal for the midfielder.
And Musonda has hinted he’s keen on a move to Parkhead by liking a photo on Instagram linking him with a loan deal to Brendan Rodgers‘ side.
Spanish club Leganes are keen on signing Musonda but Celtic lead the way and hope to have the Belgian in Glasgow next week to complete a move.
Despite speculation over his future, Musonda could feature in Chelsea’s fourth round FA Cup clash with Newcastle today.
Conte’s side are without Alvaro Morata, Thibaut Courtois and Cesc Fabregas and the Italian could be forced into using Musonda before his move.
