This may mean having to pass up a refreshing, cold beverage, but Coca-Cola has thought of that and combined the two, increasing the caffeine level in its already highly caffeinated drink.

Coca-Cola Coffee Plus contains 50 percent extra caffeine (34mg), though has half the calories, and is currently on sale in Japan in vending machines.
According to Shin-Shouhin, the drink does indeed taste like Coke, though once you’ve swallowed it there’s a coffee aftertaste, combing the two. However, there is reportedly an odd smell to it, which doesn’t resemble either drink.
“To be frank, it’s not a very delicious aroma,” Shin-Shouhin says, before adding: “I didn’t think it tasted good, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”
The response to the beverage in Japan has reportedly been mixed, as you can imagine.
The company previously released Coca-Cola BlāK in Europe and the United States in 2006, which was a coffee-flavoured soft drink which only last two years after it didn’t prove too popular.
