Donald Trump has revealed that Isis have been wiped out.
Speaking at the Davos Economic Forum in Switzerland, he said: ‘The coalition to defeat Isis has taken almost 100 per cent of the territory once held by these killers in Iraq and Syria.’
The President talked a tough line on security during a powerful speech that lashed North Korea, Iran and Afghanistan.
He repeated previous calls for other countries to ‘pay their fare share’ when it came to Nato.
Mr Trump called for ‘maximum pressure to denuke the Korean peninsula’ and asked U.S. allies to ‘block Iran producing a nuclear weapon.’
The U.S leader added: ‘We are committed to ensuring that Afghanistan never again becomes a safe haven for terrorists wanting to commit mass-murder.
The President also appeared to defend his controversial ‘Muslim ban’ on six Middle Eastern nations, saying: ‘We are also securing our immigration system.
‘When it comes to terrorism we will do whatever it takes to protect our borders.’
‘Our immigration system is stuck in the past, We must replace our current system (of) extended family chain migration with a merit-based system. ‘
