Econet Wireless Group’s Kwesé Sports TV has secured English Premier League rights to broadcast Free To Air (FTA) for the next three seasons. Social media users have welcomed Kwesé TV as an alternative that can compete with MultiChoice’s DStv. Could Kwesé TV succeed in competing with established broadcasters?
What a coup for Sir Strive Masiyiwa and Kwese TV for securing EL rights. Now he has the arrows to stand against Multichoice. Game on soon!

Kwesé TV ~> Kwesé Sports! Pls include Nigeria in your plans. I hope we get a better service than that of Dstv @StriveMasiyiwa

Kwese is built on Econet’s satellite communications business, Liquid Sat, which has already created a platform that will deliver Direct TV to the home (DTH), in all the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa.
