Blame Kylie Jenner for all the baby chat happening this week.
We don’t yet know what she’s named her kiddo, but if she chooses to go down the trendy route, this list might signal some options.
We doubt she will, though. Those Kardashian-Jenners love an unusual name – it’s be strange if they went for a name that’s ultra popular.
But if Kylie is in need of inspiration, or anyone other than the Kardashian-Jenners happens to be having a baby, send thanks to NetMums for bringing us some inspiration.
The parenting website has put together a list of baby names they reckon will be BIG in 2018.
Some things to note: The gender neutral name trend is still going strong, with Henley, Dalston, and River making an appearance, while royal inspired names continue to be popular.
Netmums’ predicted top names of 2018:
We quite like Hettie and Henley. Henley Jenner has a nice ring to it, no?
Other predictions for popular baby names in 2018 include Royal inspired choices, such as Harry, George, and Charlotte, and a continuing preference for classic favourites like Emma and Finn.
Our advice? Avoid all of the above unless you want your child to be one of eight Theas in one class. Go really off-piste. Set a trend. give your child a name you’ve never heard before, like Cucumber or Fidget.
Choosing a name your child has to live with is a big, tricky decision. But that’s no reason to be boring.
