The Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case is getting murkier day-by-day. Dark stories behind the telly star’s troubled personal life have now started to crop up.
While friends and family had already revealed how tormented her relationship with Rahul was, Pratyusha’s maid has opened a new can of worms. Renu Sinha, her househelp, has revealed that Pratyusha used to borrow money from her for cab fares and medicines, India.com reports.
According to the report, the maid said that despite being financially sound, Pratyusha used to borrow money from her since Rahul used to manage her expenses. She has been working at the TV actor’s Goregoan residence for nearly three months and her experience was no good.
The maid revealed that, “At odd hours in the night, I used to hear raised voices from the couple’s room. I wanted to rescue Pratyusha but didn’t know if it was right to interfere in a private matter between them. Whenever Rahul left home, I would coax Pratyusha into telling me everything. She spoke of Rahul accusing her of having an affair with her former boyfriend.”
The househelp also confirmed reports of Rahul’s ex, Saloni, creating a scene at the residence and abusing her. Renu also mentioned that, Pratyusha didn’t want to break-up with Rahul, despite being abused, as she feared impacting her family image. The maid also noticed bruise marks on her body every now and then.
It would be recalled that on April 1, while everyone was rejoicing on April Fools Day, news that Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide came across as another joke. However, minutes later the seriousness started to seep in when pictures of her dead body started making rounds of the internet. The 24-year-old’s family didn’t even get a chance to mourn the death of their young daughter as her so-called friend’s highlighted the case by making controversial statements about her personal life.
This status of her Instagram profile 8 months ago, states that all was not well in her life. Confessions about Pratyusha’s troubled love life, her financial status, Failure in industry and so on were taking headlines soon after. However, the police are still investigating the case and no solid evidences against anyone have been traced as yet.
