The former Celebrity Big Brother star explained how she was whisked to hospital by her mum as she was having “contractions”
Stephanie Davis revealed she thought she had gone into early labour as she made her first appearance on Loose Women as a guest panelist.
The 23-year-old actress has made regular appearances on the lunchtime chat show since leaving Celebrity Big Brother, with her ex Jeremy McConnell and when she shared the first scan of her baby son.
Steph was welcomed with open arms by her fellow panelists Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha, and Kaye Adams as she chatted about the terrifying pregnancy scare: “I had a little scare on Sunday, I was in bed in the middle of the night and woke up with bad pains and was throwing up.”
The worried mum-to-be explained how her mum took her to hospital where she was treated by doctors: “I thought I was in early labour as I was having contractions. I was on the gas and air!”
But Steph reassured everyone that she had been given the okay since: “Everything is all fine I don’t know what it was, so touch wood everything is ok.
“I felt a kick after that, so everything is okay, it gave me a little boost.”
Ahead of her guest stint Steph shared the news with her Twitter followers, the happy mum-to-be wrote: “FINALLY I’m so happy to announce that I’m going to be a Panellist on @loosewomen this Friday. Really excited so make sure to tune in.”
Speaking to The Sun online about the former Hollyoaks star’s pending appearance on Loose Women, an insider said previously: “This is a great opportunity for Stephanie to impress producers, who will be watching her and the reaction from viewers closely.”
And if the brunette beauty is successful, there is hope she will become a “permanent fixture” among the show’s regular hosts Coleen Nolan, Vicky Pattison and Katie Price.
The source explained: “If they like her, she could become a permanent fixture.”
Meanwhile, Stephanie – who is currently in the second trimester of her pregnancy – has admitted she has been battling with “extreme headaches” and has been craving pickles.
