Kate was admitted to the private Lindo wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, where they welcomed a little boy.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have welcomed their third child into the world.
Kensington Palace tweeted:
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
They also said,
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
It’s now been revealed that the little one’s name is Louis Arthur Charles. We love it!

Alice, Victoria and Mary were the popular choices for a girl, and Albert and Arthur topped the spots for boy names according to the bookies. It seems like they were sort of on the mark with the middle name.
Kate and William announced their happy news in October 2017 with this adorable tweet.
The happy news comes just days after it was reported that Pippa, Kate’s sister, is also pregnant. The news is yet to be confirmed, however.
We wish Kate and William all the best with their new addition and we’re sure George and Charlotte can’t wait to begin bonding with their new sibling.
