Barcelona are reportedly tracking Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane
Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were being closely watched by Barcelona at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night, according to reports in Spain.
Barca’s sporting director Robert Fernández was in attendance as bitter rivals Real Madrid played out a 1-1 draw with the Premier League side in the Champions League group stage clash.
And, according to Mundo Deportivo, he was there to run the rule over Kane and Eriksen.
Kane has been in sensational form for Spurs and England and has become one of the most talked about strikers in world football.
Real Madrid have reportedly been monitoring the 24-year-old’s progress and are being linked wih a £150million swoop next summer – and Fernández was supposedly eager to see what the fuss is all about.
The Barca chief was also keeping a close eye on Eriksen, who has long been on the Spanish club’s radar.
The former Ajax playmaker has been in excellent form for Tottenham and is viewed by Fernandez as an excellent alternative to Philippe Coutinho if Liverpool continue to stand firm over the Brazilian.
