Antonio Valencia to keep Manchester United captaincy: Jose Mourinho confirms

Jose Mourinho revealed Antonio Valencia will remain as Manchester United’s captain for the 2018/19 season. The United defender took over the armband from Michael Carrick last season, but some fans have been calling for Paul Pogba to be given the responsibility after his showing at the World Cup.
Pogba helped France lift the World Cup and was a key voice in the dressing room and on the pitch despite goalkeeper Hugo Lloris acting as his country’s captain.
