Donald Trump has bragged that he’s the greatest president in the history of the U.S.
Speaking at the GOP retreat in Virginia Thursday, Mr Trump shared a simpering anecdote from Senator Orrin Hatch.
He recalled:'(Orin) said once, I am the single greatest president in his lifetime.
‘Now he’s a young man, so it’s not that much, but he actually once said I’m the greatest president in the history of our country.
And I said ‘Does that include Lincoln and Washington?’ and he said ‘Yes,’ and I said ‘I love this guy’.
Trump failed to play down the extreme praise, and instead called Hatch ‘a very spectacular man.’
But many took exception to the comment – with Hatch’s Wikipedia updated soon after to slate his devotion to Trump.
The semi-fictional bio read: ‘Orrin Grant Hatch or “Tooly McToolface” has officially bent the knee to emperor Trump and stated he is a better President than George Washington founder of this Nation and Abraham Lincoln who abolished slavery
