On Tuesday the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok will start a two-day official visit to Turkey on Wednesday.
The theme is “Envisioning Peace and Security in a Fragmented World,” will host more than 600 leading politicians, businesspeople, academics, activists, journalists, opinion leaders, intellectuals, and policymakers.
According to a statement “During the visit, Turkish-Dutch bilateral relations, our EU process, and current regional and international issues will be on the agenda.” As part of his visit, Blok is to “pay a brief visit” to the Turkish parliament, which was attacked during the 2016 defeated coup attempt by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).
FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 251 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.
However, on Thursday, Blok and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will attend the TRT World Forum.
