Federer crashes out of Wimbledon after stunning Anderson fightback

Roger Federer was denied a place in a 13th Wimbledon semi-final
Defending champion Roger Federer has been knocked out of Wimbledon after a thrilling five-set defeat to Anderson in the quarter-finals.
Roger Federer took a 2-0 lead on Court One to equal his own record for the most consecutive sets won at the All England Club. The Swiss legend then had a match point saved by Anderson, before the South Africa levelled the match at 2-2.
Roger federer, 36, was bidding to become the first man to win Wimbledon nine times but it is Anderson who will face John Isner or Milos Raonic for a place in the final.
