The Voice Kids finally kicks off tonight with Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am all returning to their rotating red chairs to either crush or make the dreams of a new batch of potential junior popstars.
Black Eyed Peas frontman will has been a firm fixture on the talent show since it first arrived on British shores on the BBC, standing by when the show jumped ship to ITV.
And ahead of tonight’s stomping first show, will has revealed why he actually prefers the children’s version of The Voice over the adult series. ‘To call it ‘The Voice Kids’ kind of belittles the talent because these kids are better than the adults in my opinion,’ will told press at this week’s The Voice UK launch. ‘I enjoy filming The Voice Kids more than The Voice Adults.’

What easily gets into my heart the most is that the kids are stronger than the parents,’ he added. The Voice UK wrapped up back in April when Ruti Olajugbagbe stormed to victory with her rendition of Dreams by The Cranberries.
