Most parents are only too glad when their partner actively wants to help look after their kids.
And bathtime can be especially long and troublesome.
But one mum has banned her husband for bathing their daughters and has posted her reasoning on Facebook.
She says that her husband is upset with her after she told him that she doesn’t want him to wash their two daughters in the bath or shower anymore.
‘I just don’t feel comfortable for a man to do this,’ the Queensland-based mum says.
‘I have said I don’t have any issue with him bathing our son as well – he’s a boy. I just believe that girls should be getting washed by their mothers and boys get the same from their fathers.’
Well, she seems to think that her kids might grow up thinking their dad is a paedo if he continues to bathe them.
‘Mums and daughters have the same parts – same goes for men and their sons.
‘Hubby thinks I’m ill…but it’s always been this way for me and how people play the “I was molested card” so very often these days.
‘I just don’t want in (any) way give my kids the chance to even think about that.’
Suffice to say, people are completely baffled by it.
The Daily Mail reports one woman as commenting: ‘You have more than a few screws loose, you shouldn’t even be thinking like that putting your partner in the same category as a child sex predator.
‘This post says a lot about how you see yourself and your negative way of life.’
Another woman has accused the mother of ‘sexualising bath time’.
‘What about single parents? Should they not bath their son or daughters in case they molested them?’
