Rose McGowan is Proud to be Honored by GQ Receiving the Man of the Year Inspiration award.

Rose McGowan is widely known as an activist, releasing her memoir, Brave, this year and starring in the four-part docuseries Citizen Rose, in which she details her experiences with sexual assault in the film industry. Rose McGowan made her film debut in 1992, but achieved wider recognition after receiving an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role in dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995). She went on to become a household name for her role as Paige Matthews in the supernatural drama series Charmed (2001–2006), will be honoured with the Inspiration Award at the 21st annual GQ Men of the Year Awards 2018.
According to GQ post Dylan Jones, Editor of GQ, today announced that American activist, director and author, Dylan Jones said, “This award recognises the sheer strength and bravery Rose McGowan has shown in coming forward and being one of the first to publicly accuse an industry figure head of grossly abusing his position of power. Rose McGowan said, “I’m proud to be honored by GQ receiving the Man of the Year Inspiration award. It’s a new dawn, a new day for all of us to celebrate positive societal change.”in association with Hugo Boss, the award recognises McGowan’s bravery as one of the first women to speak openly about sexual assault and harassment in the film industry. Rose is the absolute embodiment of this award and it will be great to watch her receive the award next month.”
