Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ Lyric Video Breaks YouTube Record

Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ lyric video has broken the record for the most views for a lyric video in the first 24 hours after it’s release.

The Hitchcock-inspired video was played more than 19 million times in the first full day it was made available, which is more than twice the previous record-holder’s best showing when it comes to lyric videos.

The former winner of the record was The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This,” which only had about nine million streams on YouTube in its first full day on the site.

In addition to breaking that specific record, “Look What You Made Me Do” now stands as Taylor Swift’s biggest debut on the world’s most popular video hosting website.
