Anthony Joshua puts his four world title belts on the line later this year when he defends his heavyweight straps against Povetkin at Wembley Stadium. The unbeaten Brit holds the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO championships after just 21 professional fights and they are all up for grabs when he takes on the experienced Russian.
Povetkin (34-1) has only ever been beaten by Wladimir Klitschko and is coming off a crunching stoppage of David Price earlier in the year. However, it is Joshua (21-0), 10 years his opponent’s junior, who is favourite to keep hold of all the gold in London.
Joshua is coming off a win over Joseph Parker. When is Joshua vs Povetkin? The fight takes place on Saturday, 22 September at Wembley Stadium, London. What channel will it be shown on? The bout will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. Povetkin brutally stopped David Price in March
